Nah...Pertama kali Ibu Ani Yudhoyono tertarik terhadap dunia potret-memotret yaitu setelah Ibu Ani mendapat sebuah tustel dari ayahnya sebagai hadiah pernikahannya dengan Bapak SBY . Kamera itu digunakannya untuk memotret perkembangan keluarganya. Sayang, hobi fotografi itu ditinggalkan seiring kesibukannya mengurus keluarga dan suami.
Namun, setelah mengikuti suami dalam perjalanannya sebagai presiden selama lima tahun, Ibu Ani mulai merasa menyesal karena telah melewatkan banyak peristiwa penting tanpa sempat mengabadikannya. Setelah lima tahun menjadi Ibu Negara, Ibu Ani mulai kembali menekuni hobinya. "Seorang fotografer pribadi Presiden SBY yang sering membantu, bahkan mengajari saya memotret. Boleh dikatakan dia adalah guru saya, yaitu saudara Dudi Anung Anindito," Ibu Ani menuturkan.
